Copper's Story...
Hi, I'm Copper! My foster mommy calls me a rare orange female kitty! My siblings and I were all found under a bush when we were just tiny babies. They asked St Francis to help us, and we got to go to a foster home to be bottle fed and cared for. Now I am big enough to find a forever family! My favorite things to do are eat, play, nap in my foster mommy's lap, and then play some more! I hope my forever home will have another kitty to play with. Or maybe I can be adopted with one of my siblings! Hope to meet ya soon!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Copper, a Tampa Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Tampa, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Tampa.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Tampa already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Tampa breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Tampa paves the way for another one to be saved.
