Habika's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, a special needs pet, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Habika's Story...
Habika is an African word for sweetheart and this little gal definitely is a sweetheart.

She was picked up as a stray and taken to the South LA shelter. We're not sure how far she strayed since she had 11 fractures of her pelvis.

Habika has had one surgery and still has one more to go but she's not letting her fractures stop her. She wants to play with her roomies and is doing great with housebreaking.

She's adorable and brave and strong. We love her. 4 months old and she's been through so much already.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Habika, a West Los Angeles Terrier (Unknown Type, Small)/Papillon puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small)/Papillon for sale in West Los Angeles, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small)/Papillon puppy from a breeder in West Los Angeles.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in West Los Angeles already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a West Los Angeles breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Small)/Papillon breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Small)/Papillon rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in West Los Angeles paves the way for another one to be saved.
