My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Fern is an older lady, maybe Jack Russell/Heeler mix, about 22 pounds and 8 or more years old. She is friendly and good with other dogs too. Her problem is her eyesight. No obvious cataracts or retinal atrophy to our untrained eyes, but she definitely does not see well. Likely sees shadows and shapes, but is not quite sure where to put her feet or how to navigate strange places.

An adoption fee may be required which helps cover some of the care and veterinary services provided, including spay for females, neuter for males, vaccinations, de-worming and heartworm testing when age appropriate.

This dog is housed at the Franklin County Small Animal Control shelter. The Humane Society graciously allows the shelter dogs to be posted under their account, but they have no direct knowledge and can answer no questions about the dogs housed there. Please use the contact email address provided for any questions.

Email adopt@ebrookville.com with any questions. We use the application available through the Franklin County Humane Society to help make a good forever home match. Online application available at members.petfinder.com/~IN19/adoptionapplication.htm. Please use the contact email provided here if you are following up on an application. Good luck finding your new best friend!
