Cam's Story...
Cam's favorite pastime is to hide in plain sight. This sweet little fluff ball is a big fan of going, like, two steps under the bed and just hanging out there, waiting for you to notice her. And when you do, it's important to know that she LOVES to be pet. Occasional belly rubs, cuddles, that sort of thing. She also adores grooming - either grooming other cats or being groomed herself. To her, a luminous coat is one of the most important things! And hers is a super-cute charcoal gray with white tux markings, so she likes to show it off! Come meet this cutie today. Cam was born in summer 2015.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cam, a Chicago Russian Blue cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Russian Blue for sale in Chicago, or seeking a Russian Blue cat from a breeder in Chicago.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chicago already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chicago breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Russian Blue breeders who help with Russian Blue rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Chicago paves the way for another one to be saved.
