Juniper is looking for a very special person to adopt her. She was trapped as a stray and clearly had spent her kittenhood scavenging food and barely surviving. With no human to care for her, she missed out on the positive interactions with people that are important in a kitten's social development. This doesn't mean, however, that she can't form bonds with people; it just means that it takes her longer to trust. But once she does trust someone, she rewards that person with more love and affection than many cats who grew up in homes and had a lot of exposure to people. With those who have earned her trust, she's sweet, adorably talkative, and kittenishly playful. Juniper is looking for a human companion who has the patience to let her settle into a new home and learn to love and trust a new person at her own pace. She is approximately a year old, is spayed, current on her vaccinations, and has tested negative for FIV and feline leukemia.
The adoption fee for this kitten is $135, which helps with the cost of routine vet care.
Please note that cats adopted through PetConnect Rescue must be indoor only, and may not be declawed (unless already declawed at the time of rescue).
