for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

Jake's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, not good with kids, not good with dogs, and not good with cats.

Jake's Story...
Jake barks a lot and runs the fence line. He’s on duty all the time. A super watch dog! Unfortunately he was neglected as a pup. He was kept in a shed most all the time and only got outside to see the light of day and others once a day to be fed and watered. He takes a bit to warm up to a patient, new person, but is loyal and worthy and protective. A reasonable adoption fee covers all basic services.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jake, a Lancaster Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Lancaster, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Lancaster.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Lancaster already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Lancaster breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Lancaster paves the way for another one to be saved.
