Rhea is one of two survivors of a littler of premature puppies, and she is truly a survivor. She was fed by tube and bottle from 200 grams to her current 11 pounds. She has been around many people and dogs, and is completely at home with them. Rhea is bold and playful, the more dominant of the two sisters, and is very curious and friendly. She would do well joining a home with another dog(s) to teach her the social lessons she missed due to her lack of a mama.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rhea, a Regina Labrador Retriever/Mastiff puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Mastiff for sale in Regina, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Mastiff puppy from a breeder in Regina.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Regina already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Regina breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Mastiff breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Mastiff rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Regina paves the way for another one to be saved.
