Hi, my name is Tilly and my foster mom says I’m the cutest petite pocket pittie you’ll ever meet! I’m a bit on the shy side, so I was really scared in the shelter. But I am totally thriving in my foster home with my four-legged foster sister showing me the ropes. I am learning just how to be a dog, and getting braver every day! I have recently discovered what toys are for, and I think they’re pretty awesome. I get really wiggly when I see my humans and other doggy friends. Basically, I am a total love-bug.
I am crate trained (but do well outside of crate too!), house trained, walk nicely on a leash, and am learning basic obedience. I get a bit anxious when my humans leave me, so I would do best in a home with lots of companionship. I get along great with other dogs and cats after a proper introduction, and I once even lived with rodents! I like to play for little bits at a time, but my absolute favorite thing is snuggling up for a nap. I could nap all day! My most taken route is from the couch to the bed, then back to the couch. I really just want to lounge and be loved, and would love to have some four-legged siblings to keep me company.
As a POPB adoptable, Tilly is eligible for 5 free obedience classes with her new family! We have adoption events every Saturday from noon to 4 pm at Petco in Gainesville, at 6869 W. Newberry Rd. (near the mall) and at the Millhopper Petsmart, 4119 NW 16th Ave. We also have special events regularly.
