Cutter is a 6.5y/o, male, red-headed black and tan Shiba. He is very sweet and on the submissive side. He loves attention and will reach out to you with his little paw when he wants a little more attention. He is happy lounging around whatever room his human is in as well as the occasional game of tug-a-war with one of his toys. He can be a bit clumsy, which just adds to his adorableness. He is still getting the hang of eating out of a bowl, prefers it on the floor, though water from a bowl is no problem. He is still perfecting his leash skills, but enjoys meeting people and other dogs on his walks. He's getting along well with his current foster family (which includes another dog), but is looking forward to meeting his forever family so he can bond with them and start his new life.

Our Adoption Process...

Starts with filling out an application via our website. Once it is received our Adoption Coordinator will contact potential adopters with any questions and also contact references. After those steps are met, a home check is performed. If all goes well, a meet and greet with the dog is set up. If the adopter does want to proceed, they are allowed to take the dog on a one week trial adoption, the adoption agreement is signed and fee given, but the fee is held until the one week is over. After the trial week, the adoption is either finalized and the fee deposited, or the dog is returned to the foster home.
