Chasse's Story...
If you're looking for a low-energy, snuggly family member, Chasse is the dog for you! This sweet guy is 7 years young and loves to be with his people. He has long legs and is working on gaining some weight after a long, stressful stay in a shelter environment. Every day Chasse makes progress, and seems to be enjoying the company of the cats and dog in his foster home. Small children are a little scary for him, so he will need an adult only home.
His foster family reports that his housetraining is going well.
Chasse's adoption fee is $250 and includes his neuter, microchip, current vaccinations, current de-wormings, a leash, collar, and some food. Adoption forms can be found at www.cleoskarmacaninerescue.com and are required to be submitted prior to meeting the dogs.
Chasse is currently fostered in Duchess.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Chasse, a Duchess Chihuahua/Italian Greyhound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua/Italian Greyhound for sale in Duchess, or seeking a Chihuahua/Italian Greyhound dog from a breeder in Duchess.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Duchess already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Duchess breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua/Italian Greyhound breeders who help with Chihuahua/Italian Greyhound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Duchess paves the way for another one to be saved.
