Winky is a 4-year-old male Chihuahua x Jack Russell Terrier mix. He weighs approximately 15 lbs.
Winky is a mellow guy who loves to cuddle with the adults and kids in his foster home. He gets along with their other dogs, though some younger, higher energy dogs can be too much for him.
Winky's adoption fee is $250 and includes his neuter, microchip, current vaccinations, current de-wormings, a leash, collar, and some food. Adoption forms can be found at www.cleoskarmacaninerescue.com and are required to be submitted prior to meeting the dogs.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Winky, a Duchess Chihuahua/Jack Russell Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua/Jack Russell Terrier for sale in Duchess, or seeking a Chihuahua/Jack Russell Terrier dog from a breeder in Duchess.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Duchess already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Duchess breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua/Jack Russell Terrier breeders who help with Chihuahua/Jack Russell Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Duchess paves the way for another one to be saved.
