Flirty Gertie doesn’t really care if you are a boy or a girl, she will love you the way you are. Though she is a bit shy and nervous at first, she will soon dazzle you with her great looks and personality. It’s not a lot of work for Gertie though because, well – she’s got game. You can’t help but like her immediately and before you know it, you will love her. If dogs had dating profiles, Gertie’s would get lots of winks; she’s spunky, she’s smart, she’s energetic, she’s beautiful and she knows what she wants. She truly enjoys human and canine companionship and is easy to befriend. Once she gets to know you she will let you take it up a notch and pick her up and may even insist on a doggie massage. Any respectful girl wants to get to know a person before she gets too close. Spend some time getting to know Flirty Gertie. You won’t regret it one bit!

The Rescue Promise

There is an old Chinese proverb that states: “If you save a life, you are responsible for that life”. Rescue From The Hart honors this philosophy with every animal that we rescue. When we say “yes” to a dog or cat in need, we are making a promise that we will provide them with anything they need to be happy and healthy, for the rest of their life. This means never cutting corners, never take the easy way out and never looking at one of our rescued as just another number. We make the same commitment to our adopters by going the extra mile to help educate them, support them during tragedies, and be there to offer solutions if their lives happen to get turned upside down.

When you support Rescue From The Hart, you help enable us to continue making the “Rescue Promise” to homeless and abandoned pets everywhere!
