9.6 years old, 10 pounds
Meggie is a sweet Yorkie girl who is looking for a patient and loving home where there is at least one other dog, but would love more! She must have a yard that is fenced in by panels (wood or PVC) as she knows how to use chain like like a ladder! This darling little girl comes from a dubious background where insecurities, not confidence, was nurtured. In her foster home, she has fallen in with her pack, doing great with her training and patiently waiting for the right family to come to love her forever. Meggie is fostered in Brick, NJ and her adoption fee is $250.
Rescue Me rescues, rehabilitates and rehomes Yorkshire Terriers in need. Our dogs come from owners, shelters, backyard breeders and puppymills. All dogs are, at minimum, spayed/neutered, UTD on rabies, distemper, bordetella and lyme vaccines, heartworm/lyme tested, have bloodwork done and dentals when needed.
Our Adoption Process...
To adopt a Yorkie from our rescue, you must complete an online application, pass a vet reference check, phone interview and home inspection. If approved, we work with you to determine the dog who best matches you and your home. You must then drive to the foster home with your current pet(s) for the meet n' greet at which time you can adopt, if it is the correct match.
