Kassidy's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and not good with cats.

Kassidy's Story...
Kassidy is a huge teddy bear! She’s a well behaved dog (e.g. listens, doesn’t destroy anything, etc). She’s

a beautiful 7 year old Irish Wolfhound Terrier Mix and weighs about 60 pounds. Her temperament is

calm and loves human companionship. Once she warms up to you, she will follow you around the house

and be by your side. She may even take over your bed! She knows to leave little humans alone and give them their space.
She is still figuring out little dogs and their energy, we have even caught glimpses of them starting to play together.

Her day typically consists of lounging around (indoors and outdoors), eating, begging for treats, and

walking in the evening. On hot days, she would get in the pool after a walk. She does need to be brushed

frequently because of her shedding. She’s potty-trained to go outside through a doggy-door. Kassidy

would fit in a home that has a semi active lifestyle with lots of love and affection. She is definitely worth

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Kassidy, a La Verne Irish Wolfhound/Wheaten Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Irish Wolfhound/Wheaten Terrier for sale in La Verne, or seeking a Irish Wolfhound/Wheaten Terrier dog from a breeder in La Verne.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in La Verne already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a La Verne breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Irish Wolfhound/Wheaten Terrier breeders who help with Irish Wolfhound/Wheaten Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in La Verne paves the way for another one to be saved.
