Hulk UPDATE's Story...
AVAILABLE 09-30-16 Little Hulk is a 2 year old Beagle/Jack Russell Terrier Mix who was brought to the Shelter when his owner could no longer care for him. Since his arrival at the Shelter Hulk has been vaccinated, neutered and microchipped. Although he enjoys napping on his karunda bed at the Shelter, Hulk would much rather nap in a nice dog bed in the house of his new forever family. So come to our Shelter on Enterprise Drive and meet Hulk, take him for a walk - see just how sweet this little guy can be. Since it's Adopt A Shelter Dog month, thru Oct. 31 Hulk can be adopted for $45 - half the regular adoption fee.
UPDATE - We took little Hulk to an Adoption Event and he did really well. We discovered that he's not only cute, but he learns very quickly. A volunteer had him sitting and laying down in a very short time, so we can add "smart" to Hulk's attributes. So let's get this sweet, cute, friendly, smart little guy a loving, caring

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Hulk UPDATE, a Elizabeth City Beagle/Jack Russell Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle/Jack Russell Terrier for sale in Elizabeth City, or seeking a Beagle/Jack Russell Terrier dog from a breeder in Elizabeth City.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Elizabeth City already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Elizabeth City breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle/Jack Russell Terrier breeders who help with Beagle/Jack Russell Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Elizabeth City paves the way for another one to be saved.
