My name is Maximus, but my friends call me Max. I have lived my young life in a home filled with love and a family who took excellent care of me, but due to their very busy work schedules which kept them away from home for extended hours everyday I was tearfully surrendered to SMRS. You see this is how much my owner loved me, they put my best interests first. I am now ready to search for my new forever home.
I am a healthy, young, loving boy who is potty trained, crate trained, no anxiety and I am not destructive. In addition to being downright handsome I am happy to tell you that I am good with all the numerous dogs in my foster home and I am even gentle enough for small size dogs and senior dogs too. I am good with children and I have even been cat tested and had a very positive, friendly attitude when meeting the fluffy tailed fur-friend. I would love a home with someone who doesn't work long hours and my hopes are high that SMRS can find that special someone for me.
A few words from my foster mom, she says I am perfect and a true joy to have in her home, no accidents, no barking and I sleep in my kennel at night without a peep. I would also be happy to be your bedtime snuggle buddy too! My days are spent playing, napping and socializing with my foster brothers and sisters and in the evening I am a lap warmer deluxe which will come in handy with the winter season on the horizon.
