Buster's Story...
Buster just arrived at Rescue Ranch, so we’re still getting to know him. He’ll need time to settle in, get his vet check, temperament evaluation, etc. He'll be enjoying his high-quality food, fresh water, toys and treats, comfy bed in his super-clean kennel, and outdoor time including walks each day. Although we're still getting acquainted, it’s already clear that this handsome boy is a happy, friendly guy. Staff have described him as a “lover boy”, and 'just full of play'. He’s not over-the-top with puppy energy, either -- he knows how to settle and be calm. Come by the Ranch to meet him and see if he’s the one for you. Rescue Ranch is open every day from 12pm to 4pm, or you can call us at 842-0829 for more info or updates.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Buster, a Yreka Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) for sale in Yreka, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) dog from a breeder in Yreka.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Yreka already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Yreka breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Yreka paves the way for another one to be saved.
