Harley's Story...

Harley's Story... Harley is very handsome guy looking to be a companion to a gentle yet strong person. Before he came to Rescue Ranch he was an affectionate companion to a gentleman in a wheelchair where he learned to walk and roll; politely on a leash. He is strong, and athletic enough to climb fences to see what is on the other side so he will need a secure place to live. He wants to be the only 4-legged companion in his person's life so needs a home without other dogs or cats. Harley hasn't had the chance in life to be around young children so he would need to learn what children are all about. We do know that he wants to please his volunteer friends here at Rescue Ranch and is the favorite of many of our dog walkers. Come meet Harley to see if he can be just the right companion for you!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Harley, a Yreka Boxer/Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer/Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Yreka, or seeking a Boxer/Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Yreka.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Yreka already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Yreka breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer/Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Boxer/Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Yreka paves the way for another one to be saved.
