Cisco's Story...

Cisco is another newcomer to the Ranch, so we're just getting acquainted, and don't have many details about him. He is big friendly guy, and was with other dogs before coming to the Ranch (although he hasn't played with any RR dogs yet). Cats and kids remain an unknown at this point. At 7 years of age, Cisco has a lot of life yet to live and give, with that sweet mellowness, and those wise eyes, of a mature dog. We'll update with more info as we get to know Cisco better, but in the meantime, why not come meet him yourself, and see if he's a match for you? Come by Rescue Ranch any day between noon and 4pm to visit the dogs, or give us a call at 842-0829 for more information.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cisco, a Yreka German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Yreka, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Yreka.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Yreka already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Yreka breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Yreka paves the way for another one to be saved.
