Hermoine's Story...
I'm Hermione. I'm a four month old Stafforshire Terrier. I'm about 30 pounds now, but will be about 60 pounds when I'm full grown. My foster mom says I'm really living up to my Staffy heritage because I'm a complete and total snuggle monster. It's my absolute favorite thing to do. If you haven't snuggled a staffy, get ready because it's pretty much the best. I like to bring out my bouncy puppy side and play with anyone and everything. No, really! I like dogs, cats, kids, toys, running in the yard, all the usual things. A fenced in yard would help keep me safe since I love to explore. Obedience training would be super fun for me since I'm already crazy smart and food motivated. I'm even crate trained and already walk nicely on my leash. I'm just putting the finishing touches on house training, too. I'm up to date on vaccines, microchipped, and spayed. My adoption fee is $350. Apply to adopt me here: https://rescueofhope.com/adoption-application/.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Hermoine, a Grand Rapids American Staffordshire Terrier puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Staffordshire Terrier for sale in Grand Rapids, or seeking a American Staffordshire Terrier puppy from a breeder in Grand Rapids.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Grand Rapids already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Grand Rapids breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Staffordshire Terrier breeders who help with American Staffordshire Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Grand Rapids paves the way for another one to be saved.
