Hi everyone, my name is Orchid! My sisters and I were rescued from a shelter in Southeastern Kentucky, there are three of us in the litter and I'm the middle sized weighing in at a whopping 5lbs! We're currently staying in something called a "foster home"! There are 4 other small doggies that call this their "forever home" and I just love to run and play with them! The biggest one is 16lbs but is very gentle with me and I can definitely hold my own playing tug of war with him! My foster mom says it takes a lot of work for me to get tired, whatever that means, but I still sleep through the night so she's happy! I'm working hard on potty training and I love running in the back yard with the other doggies but I'm still going to take some work because I'm only 9 weeks old! I'd love to live in a forever home that possibly has another small doggie for me to play with but I would also do great being the center of attention all on my own because I love to snuggle in laps and snooze! If you just love my pictures and would like to meet me please fill out an adoption application and my foster mom can set up a "meet and greet."
The adoption fee of $450.00 will include spay/neuter, microchip, age appropriate/required vaccinations and any other necessary medical treatment to assure a healthy new pup for your family. Although we make the best guess on the breed and size of our dogs, because they come from shelters, we can never be completely certain of the genetic makeup of the dog. All we can tell you for sure is that they are 100% RESCUED! Orchid is being fostered in Orland Park, IL
If you are interested in adopting, please visit our website at www.starfishanimalrescue.com. Once you complete and submit your dog adoption application we will set up an appointment to meet this pup!
