Hi there, I'm Diamond! I came to the shelter with my single baby, Doran. I was a very good momma but now that my baby has grown and is looking for his new home, it's time for me to find a loving forever home as well. I don't mind the company of other kitties around here much, I mostly keep to myself though so I would really prefer to be the queen of my castle. I love being petted and getting attention of the humans here. I should let you know that I am FIV+ which is an immunodeficiency virus in cats. Don't let that scare you though- many kitties who are FIV+ can live very long healthy lives well into their teens and even 20's! Also, since the virus isn't airborne or spread through litter boxes or the sharing of food and water bowls, it is safe for us to be around other kitties. The virus is most commonly spread from moms to babies and through deep bite wounds and is not contagious to dogs or humans.
