Rookie's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Rookie's Story...
Rookie came to our rescue when he was surrendered to a high kill shelter by his owner. This sweet little guy came in with a mild case of Demodex (non-contagious) Mange, but you'd never know that now by looking at this handsome tri-colored little gent. Rookie is enthusiastic about everything and when he's not exploring whatever he can he loves to be curled up next to you napping.

Rookie is extremely cat, kid, dog, and people friendly! If you're ready for a spunky, happy addition to your family, look no further!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rookie, a Warrenville Pit Bull Terrier/Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier/Beagle for sale in Warrenville, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier/Beagle dog from a breeder in Warrenville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Warrenville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Warrenville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier/Beagle breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier/Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Warrenville paves the way for another one to be saved.
