I am already spayed, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.
I was always the biggest kitten in my litter and a bit of an alpha-cat! I love my sisters Skye and Asher and do fine with other cats (after a couple of grumbles letting them know I mean business!). Confident, very playful, and with a very loud purr that I will use whenever you pet me, I hope I can have a forever home soon. I was born in April and am fostered in Huntsville, AL. I will keep your feet warm at night and make you laugh when I chase the laser toy! I am felv/fiv negative, up to date on vaccines, spayed and microchipped! My adoption fee is $25 now that I am 6 months old! Fill out an application for me at www.forrescue.net/cat-application/
Friends of Rescue is a certified 501(c)(3) organization formed in 2009, consisting of volunteers who are devoted to saving shelter animals that are in danger of euthanasia. Southern shelters have a constant overflow of dogs and cats, little funding, and limited space. Once the animals arrive at the shelter, they have very little time. It is our goal to help save these adoptable animals and find loving individuals/families who will provide committed, FORever homes. We are NOT professional trainers or animal behaviorists; simply volunteers who are trying to save these animals from euthanasia. Each animal in our program is in a foster home and receives all age-appropriate vetting while in our care.
Come Meet Our Pets...
Our animals are mostly fostered in northern Alabama. But we have many wonderful adopters who come from the Georgia area to adopt our wonderful adoptables.
Our Adoption Process...
We have many wonderful dogs and cats looking for FORever Homes!
Our adoption fee covers their complete age-appropriate vetting, spay/neuter, microchip, heartworm/flea prevention, and full medical records.
Go to www.FORrescue.net and click on "Adoption" and then "Applications" to apply for the animal you are interested in adopting.
Please email us at info@FORrescue.net with any questions you might have about FOR or our adoption process.

NOTE: Some shelters have physical locations you can visit; some of these shelters may only have pets for a limited time, so please do not wait for a reply—just go visit the shelter!
Other organizations are rescue groups run by busy volunteers who may take a while to reply. You can find information about the shelter or rescue group caring for this pet, and their adoption procedures,
