How do you do? My name is Daphne and I am a lady with good manners. I will sit in my kennel watching you but not overreacting or acting silly. I am rather reserved unless I am in the play yard and an especially interesting dog comes by who I want to play with. Then you might hear me call to him or her to come play with me. When I was in the play yard I enjoyed just running around on my own enjoying the fresh air. The Volunteers introduced me to playgroup with other dogs. I wasn't especially fond of some of the dogs who were overly energetic in the yard. I was able to play with the milder dogs but I am still learning some of my social manners when playing with mild dogs. I might be particular about who I want to play with. I walk pretty well on leash and will listen if you need to correct me. I don't crave attention but I don't avoid it; the Volunteers don't think someone spent a lot of time cuddling with me. The Volunteers like to cuddle though so I'm sure that's something I may come to enjoy. It sure felt good today when we sat outside and the Volunteer sat with me petting me and talking to me. I probably need a new picture; I look like a tiny little girl and I actually weigh 63 pounds. I'm not overweight; the picture doesn't show my beautiful long legs and longer body. I'm a nice girl looking for someone who likes to walk and will spend time teaching me about the wonderful world of human love.
