FOSTER PARENT COMMENTS: Roscoe loves to go for long walks and car rides. He likes to run around the yard in circles. He would possibly be a good running companion. He loves to be around people and is sweet, friendly but somewhat shy. He will stick around his humans when new people are around but once he feels secure about the situation, he is very friendly. He would probably benefit from training classes which would also boost his self confidence. We are teaching him to sit before a door is opened since he tends to door dash. We are working on his leash manners.
EVERY DOG HAS A STORY: Roscoe was in a rural shelter for several months. Right before Hurricane Matthew hit NC, BFPA pulled Roscoe and many other dogs who were in harms way due to the hurricane. Roscoe will be going through heart worm treatment so his adoption will be timed accordingly. Some of the information contained in this biography includes approximations based on our expertise and is not guaranteed. We do home visits to finalize adoptions and/or deliver the adopted dog. Therefore, we prefer potential adopters live a reasonable distance to the Triangle area (Raleigh/Durham/Chapel Hill) of North Carolina. INTERESTED IN ADOPTING ROSCOE?
