Bo Bo's Story...
Bo Bo's Story...
Bo Bo is a sweet 1-2 year old boy who is highly inquisitive. He needs a job to keep his mind occupied or he can get himself into mischief. He is good with kids, dogs and cats. Requires a fenced yard. He just wants to be loved and have a job to do.
Life for Pets is an all volunteer foster based rescue group.
We are a small 501 c3 spay/neuter group. We also are active in rescue and TNR (Trap/Neuter/Release) of feral cats. Most of our animals are owner give up, dogs rescued off of chains, or cats rescued off the streets.
We strive to decrease pet population through spay/neuter while decreasing euthanasia rates.
We also work on building fences to decrease the number of chained dogs in Winchester and Clark county.

Come Meet Our Pets...
Our animals are available for adoption on Saturdays at the PetSmart in Lexington, KY. We are there from 11:30 to 4:30. Email to make sure we will be coming. You can also email to request to make an appointment to see an animal at another time. They are in foster homes.
Our Adoption Process...
All of our cats/dogs are spay/neuter prior to adoption, receive appropriate vaccinations, deworming, and testing.
Adoptions are done with an approved applications and have a one to two week trial period before finalization. This is to ensure a proper fit for both animal and adopter.
Dogs are placed once an approved home visit is done and must have a fenced yard. Cats must be indoors only
Adoption fees vary depending on age. Cats/kittens are $50 to $70 and Dogs/puppies are $125 to $150.
