Abigail is a six year old smooth red mini dachshund and the sweetest girl you will ever find. Abigail weighs 12 pounds, so she is a perfect size to fill your lap.  Abigail does great with other dogs and is living with cats in her foster home and has yet to give them a second look. Abigail loves to sit with you quietly as you watch TV or curl up in bed with you as you read a book. This girl lives for her people, and loves just hanging out. Abigail's favorite thing to do is sunbathe. She loves to go out in the morning, grab a nice warm spot of sun and lay for hours. She is a Cali girl and loves her sunshine.

Abigail did have surgery on both her hind legs. This was to repair an issue she was born with. Her knee caps moved in and out of place when she walked. She had a very successful surgery and is all better. You would never guess she has surgery. She can walk and run normal. Actually she loves running in the yard chasing bugs or leaves.  Abigail uses doggie stairs to get up on the couch, and finds the closest blanket to curl up under.

Abigail makes a great match to any family. She is great with dogs, cats, kids, loves car rides, loves to go for walks and is happy to do just about anything you ask of her.

 Abigail's Adoption Fee: $225.00

We do not have a kennel or facility to visit, all dogs are kept in foster homes until their forever homes are found.
Adoption Process: Once an approved application
is on file, we will then set up a home visit. At that time we will bring the dog to the home in which you will all be sharing. We ask the entire family to be there that day. If we all agree on the placement, then the dog will stay with you that day.
