Here's what the humans have to say about me:
The Blues Brothers are making a special appearance at Adopt-A-Pet! Meet the one and only Elwood J. Blues (Elwood)! Although they are known for their musical crime comedy film, this Elwood sticks to the comedy part to provide you with instant entertainment! But, we’re not promising he won’t get into a little mischief when he’s exploring your home or playing with his brother (who by the way, he’s hoping you will adopt too)!
Elwood is soooo handsome! And, even better, he’s a very easy going guy, ready to explore and play anywhere he goes, and with ANYTHING! He absolutely LOVES his brother…a perfect pair for exploring, playing and cuddling together! He is new to Adopt-A-Pet, but took no time at all time to make himself at home. Elwood was born in a foster home and is now ready to find his forever home!
Behaviorally and socially, it’s best to adopt kittens in pairs, or into a home with a playful cat. Kittens really need a playmate in their forever home…and then they can get to play, and snuggle while you're not home. Check out our Pick A Pair page to see if his brother is still available, or choose another one of our playful cats or kittens.
If you are only interested in adopting a single kitten, and you’re home most of the day, and able to spend interactive time with a kitten, we will consider adopting out a kitten older than 4 months. Each foster home knows the kitten’s personalities best, and we follow their recommendations for single placements.
Starting 11/6/16, you can meet Elwood at Wilmette Pet, 625 Green Bay Road, anytime during store hours 7 days a week. (847-251-6750 www.wilmettepetcenter.com). Although you may want to adopt her on the spot, please know that you will have to go through the application process first.
Elwood’s ACTUAL date of birth is 7/21/16. His adoption fee of $135 includes his vet exam, FVRCP vaccination, FIV & Feline Leukemia testing (neg), routine deworming, flea control, microchip and neuter.
