Ace is one of those unfortunate dog stories that we hear about so much these day; the one where he has been left behind by his owners due to them losing their home.  This young boy is only 9 months old and weighs 50 pounds.  We think he is a Shepherd/ Hound mix and he has the warmest eyes and the brightest smile.  What a tragedy that in the first 9 months of his life Ace has had to live in a car for a while and then with the owner’s elderly mother.  This older woman was not able to care for a young energetic puppy so he lost yet another place to live.  When we first came to meet Ace, he was very scared of us and other dogs.  Now that he has settled in with confident, easy going, pack of dogs at his foster home, he is a completely new dog.  Ace has learned that he can play with other dogs and he doesn’t even bother the cat.  Ace is neutered and heartworm negative and healthy in every way.  We can’t wait to give Ace a life of stability and love.  We know that someone will see his posting and want to take him home.  Could that be you that he can live with and love for the rest of his life?  This boy Ace is all about love….the unconditional kind.  PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.com

About Critter Companion Rescue- DC

About Our Rescue Group...

We are a group of dedicated rescue people who want to save as many dogs and cats from the local shelters before they are euthanized. On the average....there are only 1 out of 10 animals that get adopted from a shelter. We are dedicated to helping increase pet adoptions by offering a shelter animal a foster home to go to while awaiting an adoptive family to find them on our Petfinder website. Won't you please adopt a shelter animal? Or won't you please help us foster a shelter animal while we are looking for their perfect home? What a gift you can give a dog or cat by giving them a place to feel safe and secure....a forever home or a foster home. Won't you help us at Critter Companion Rescue give them a chance to have a life?

Our Adoption Process...

Most all our dogs are fostered in Tennessee and transport up to the Northeast or New England. Our fees start at $500 and can be higher depending on the dog and circumstances for their vetting. All fees cover the health certificate, transportation up to designated places for families to pick up their pre-adopted dog, spay/neuter, rabies, all shots, fecal and dewormings, microchip, complete vet check up and 4 way heartworm test if dogs are older than 8 months.
