A volunteer writes: Byron''s head is so big I had to expand my leash in order to slip it over his head. Blockhead alert!! And, he''s awesome! Surrendered to our care as his person started working longer hours and was unable to care for him, Byron joins us with a stellar resume. He lived well with three children, a toddler and two teens, would engage with dogs on walks if they solicited him, is housetrained (check), doesn''t guard his things, and loves water from time to time jumping into the shower with his person! Do I hear an awwwwwwwwwwwwwww :). We''re told he''s friendly and affectionate (check and check), loves to play tug, go on runs, is crate trained and will go inside to sleep if told to and will sometimes take his leash in his mouth and give it to the person who is going to be walking him. There''s sure a lot of ''awwwwwwwww''s'' about Byron. In the park he ignored birds and squirrels, came up on the bench to give me kisses, showed off his sit and took treats gently. A big bruiser of a boy, he''s gentle and sweet; a proven family dog who hopes a new person or family is looking for someone just like him. We hope so too as he''s a pretty special fellow. Come meet him today.
