My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Thank you for visiting my profile! My name is Garfield and as you can see I haven't had enough time to live up to the fat cat celebrity quite yet. I was rescued from a local shelter with another group of kittens. My foster mom saw me all alone in my cage and knew she had to take me too! I was a scared, malnourished kitten but have flourished in my foster home. I have a HUGE appetite (appropriate right?!) and a pretty light play level for a kitten (again, just trying to live up to my name!). I am a silly kitten who tends to hoard toys rather than always play with them. I love to sleep surrounded by them (see my pic!) and will go after a toy that was taken from my stash. I come out of my shell the most when it's just me. It's then that I turn on my purr motor, flop on my back for belly rubs and haven't a care in the world. I love my foster siblings a lot but would do just as well in a home with no other animals. I would be happiest in a home with kids over the age of 8 or just adults. I give the sweetest nose bumps when I'm happy and I can't wait til I have a family to share them with!
