Hey there! Rowen here. Aren't I the cutest thing you've ever seen? Yeah, I get that allll the time. Everyone loves a freckled girl! My guardian just broke the news today that I have to find a new home. She loves me but her landlord is kicking me out. The humane society said they would put me to sleep and that really scared me!! I am only 10 months old, I have so much life ahead of me! The Sunshine peoples caught word of this and said they would rescue me. Its good to know there is a light at the end of the tunnel. My guardian told me I should tell you about my glowing personality so here I am. An ideal day for me includes going on a long walk or hike in the mountains where I can burn some herding dog energy! After we explore together I hope that we would cuddle up on the couch where I can give you all the puppy kisses. I am a world class snuggler! I would love a house with a backyard for me to play fetch & get the zoomies in. Someday I'd like to go to puppy college because I am really smart. I heard that they give out lots of puppy treats and WHO doesn't love that?! I have recently developed a fear of strangers (mainly men) and would really like to work through this with you. Be patient with me! Like I said, I'm smart, so I can get through these fears. I hope you'll give me a chance to love you unconditionally, because I am the sweetest!

If you want to spend forever together email the rescue peoples at Thanks!

About Sunshine Canyon Dog Rescue

Our Adoption Process...

- Complete our adoption application.
- Email your finished application to Please put the dogs name in the subject line.
- Be patient & understanding. It may take a couple days for us to go through your application & get back to you. We are dedicated to finding the right home for each dog. The dog you are interested in might not be a good fit for you but that doesn't mean its the end of the road. We will work to find you a compatible dog!
- Upon approval we will discuss details of pick up & follow up care.
- Because the majority of our dogs come from out of state; most of our adoptions are done before you meet the dog. We make up for this by doing a mandatory 1 week foster period. We treat it like an adoption (w/ contract & payment) but you have a week to make sure its a good fit. If you decide within in the foster period that you are not compatible, we will reimburse your adoption fee. All we ask is that you continue to foster until we can find a forever home. Our adopters often say that our foster period is much better than a pressured 15 minute meet n greet in a shelter. We cover most medical costs within this week period.
- After the week period we are still a resource for you! We are always happy to help from training to kinds of dog food, we are here for you.
