Abigail needed a new home when her "dad" Kevin moved into an assisted living facility after suffering several strokes. He was devastated at the thought of leaving Abigail, but he couldn't take her with him.
Look at her tail wagging non-stop! Sweet Abigail is a very mellow girl who is about 6 years old - dad Kevin adopted her when she was 2 years old & they have been companions ever since. Abigail is spayed, housetrained, knows basic commands and is microchipped. She is a little chunky now because Kevin couldn't provide enough exercise for her due to his medical issues. You can see in her photos that she likes to play ball - she would love to have someone in her life to play with her & give her the exercise she hasn't been able to get recently. Abigail is now up to date on rabies, distemper, and bordatella.
Abigail has never lived with other dogs, cats or children but she has been exposed to dogs and has been fine. She chases cats so she would not do well with cats. As for children, we have no idea but she is sweet girl who is very good natured and very friendly.
If you would like to meet sweet Abigail, please fill out an application at www.ehrdogs.org and be sure to ask for her by name - ABIGAIL! We would love to give her dad Kevin the peace of mind that comes from knowing his beloved companion has found a new home where she will be loved and safe!
