My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Willow is an amazing girl looking for a forever home! She is very, very smart. She has been sitting for a treat which she learned in just a day or two. She is a quick study & will be eager to learn more tricks. She will go into her kennel without protest and gets a treat for a reward. Willow is doing great with house training & no accidents in the house after the first day of arrival. She loves to have the tennis ball thrown for her to fetch in the yard. She is good on the gentle-leader leash for walks. She just likes to be wherever her foster mom is and just wants to be loved. Willow is great with other dogs & enjoys their company. She's very curious about the cats and likes to chase them but once she's corrected she stops; she more interested in playing with them than they are with her. Willow enjoys nap time on her foster mom's bed and sprawls out taking up as much room as she can (it's so comfy!). She's very much a puppy and will need reminders about what is appropriate to play with; plenty of toys help keep her occupied. She has a beautiful coat and she is all legs. She is such a sweet girl and we know she will make a great dog for someone.

Willow's ideal home will be in an active household with a yard to play in. She is an adolescent puppy who is still working on manners, so toddlers probably would be overwhelmed by her (she's a bit clumsy & will probably steal their toys). Older kids would be better than little ones.

Willow was born approximately 1-1-16 and weighs 40 lbs. We are uncertain of her breed but she appear to be a Setter mix. She is spayed, vaccinated for rabies/parvo/distemper, microchipped, heartworm negative, given flea/tick preventative. Adoption fee is $250.
