Ruby is a beautiful Walker hound mix who has had a hard life. Luckily, she made her way to the property of a caring person. Emaciated and limping she was turned over to the local Humane Society. A trip to the vet revealed that the poor girl had been caught in some kind of animal trap and had fractured her hind paw. Ruby is now in foster care healing from her wounds and enjoying at least 3 meals a day. Her past has left her a little timid around new people, but she warms up quickly.  She is also getting use to living in a house and sleeping in a crate.  She is doing great with house training and gets along well with other dogs, although she may chase chickens.  She has not been around adult cats but is great with a kitten that lives in her foster home. Her foster mom is working on walking well on a leash. Please give Ruby a loving home that she deserves.
