My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Kemba & her siblings were found living in a horse trailer in rural TX. They were terrified and covered in their own feces. Lucky for them, they were found by rescuers who quickly brought them home, bathed them and got them medical attention. Its been a year since Kemba has been with our rescue and her wonderful foster has truly changed her life. Kemba has grown so much. This is what her foster mom has to say about her:

Kemba is about a year and half old. She is shy around new people until she gets to know them and then she is the sweetest. She loves other dogs, both male and female, and is playful yet submissive. I think she would do well in a calm and consistent environment with another pup to show her the ropes. She is housetrained and knows how to use a dog door. Also rides well in the car. She is not super enthusiastic about being walked on a leash, but is making progress. I let her run off leash on my BF's property and she does just fine. Kemba is also highly food motivated and loves toys of all kinds. In the right situation she is going to do great! Kemba's ideal new family is going to need to be patient and give her time to trust.
