This is Wiley and Art n Paws is helping find him a home.
Wiley was painstakingly rescued from the middle of a busy intersection. His rescuer stopped traffic, waived cars out of lanes, followed him and made sure that he stayed safe. It took 4 hours to finally get him to trust enough to be picked up and taken from the streets.
It was obvious this little guy had been neglected. After he was saved, he seemed to look around in amazement. He stared up at the sky as if he were looking at it for the first time. Wiley was emaciated and scared, but ready to love.
His rescuer has taken great care to nurse this boy back to health and show him that people are worth trusting again. She got him vet care, shots, microchip and neutered. He has put weight back on and is healthy and happy.
He is about 2 years old, he is the size of a Chihuahua , around 6 pound, but has a unique brindle wire coat. He is working on crate training and using potty pads. His rescuers are socializing him, and he is really opening up.
he is very loving once he knows you,
very happy and outgoing.
he is great with other dogs and very playful .
