Awesome is the word that comes to mind when we speak about this boy. He is Buddy a gorgeous Black purebred Labrador Retriever. Buddy is 2yrs old, and has the most wonderful temperament and beautiful features. Buddy is blessed with stunning good looks, gorgeous white teeth, a lovely shiny black coat and beautiful soulful brown eyes that just melt your heart Buddy`s story )))) Buddy was dumped as a puppy he was abandoned at a Pitbull Rescue in Louisiana Luckily for Buddy he was taken in by the Rescue who did a wonderful job caring for him, Buddy was transferred to us because the rescue only dealt with pitbulls. We transported Buddy to Florida his transporters thought he was awesome he loved the ride and people. I cannot understand anyone letting this boy go, but we are committed to getting Buddy everything he needs in a loving home, Buddy is a big boy around 80lb. 80lb of pure love you can hug this boy all day, He loves to curl up on the sofa with you, He has a wonderful temperament he is playful and submissive with the others they pull him around and wrestle with him, Like most Labs Buddy loves the water and riding in the car he loves to sit in the front with his head out of the window and his ears flapping in the wind. Buddy is one of the best hunters I have seen nothing escapes his vision and he is off like a rocket if he sees something of interest, He is magnificent when he runs.Buddy is a good boy however he will steal blankets and pillows and take them outside and he dosent like to be left alone much he will get into things, He is a good listener but can be a little stubborn at times so he does need a little discipline and he is a fast learner he will get it if you are persistent in his training. He really is still a puppy despite his size. We are now searching for a wonderful forever home for Buddy A family that will love and cherish this boy as much as we do A home that will give him stability and security he needs Buddy has blossomed in the time he has been with us he is certainly a favorite. Buddy is so lovable he deserves a family that will give him the love and attention he needs. He loves to be around humans,He is a big boy and will pull on the leash if he is distracted so a strong hand would be needed. Buddy loves everyone unless you are a CAT TURTLE, or any small Rodent So no cat homes for Buddy. He knows commands sit, down stop and Buddyyyyy, He is energetic, fun and playful. Buddy is house trained he will go to the door when he needs potty at the moment our door is open all the time, He is intelligent and smart and will easily pick up your routine. Buddy is energetic so we are looking for a family that is home most of the day or he will get bored, We do not crate any of our dogs and crating Buddy would be a disaster so we are looking for a family that will not crate him. Buddy likes home comforts At night time he will sleep on a sofa or a bed however he just loves to sleep on your bed he loves to be close to his humans. its so hard not to fall in love with this boy. We are looking for a family that has time to invest in Buddy, He definitely needs a home with a fenced in yard he loves to run, He is great with all other dogs and he would like a companion around his own age no small dogs Buddy is gentle but he needs someone to wrestle with. Buddy is still very much a puppy so he will still need a firm hand and discipline at times his energy may also knock down small children so no small children. Buddy is Neutered, current on all vaccinations heartworm Negative and he is micro.chipped. He is happiest being in a family environment and enjoying freedom to run outdoors and relax with you in the home. We are looking for a forever home that can cherish him and give him the love and attention he needs, A family that is really stable and can give him that forever home that means forever. We don't want to ever find this boy back in rescue. A family that will include him in their lifestyle and activities. Buddy will only get better with the right interaction.
