I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, and good with dogs.
Hattie is brand new to our rescue, so we are still getting to know her. What we do know so far is that she is SUPER dog friendly (she loves dogs of all sizes, including her 15 lb. foster sister) and is always willing to learn new things for some tasty treats. She's a quick learner, too, having already mastered sit and down, and she's learning more every day. We will update her bio as we learn more about her.
Helping Paws Rescue is dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating and rehoming unwanted and neglected pets. We have a successful adoption rate and work with adopters even after placement to ensure life-long matches.
Come Meet Our Pets...
We are located in Bogart, GA (just outside of Athens).
From Downtown Athens: Head up Atlanta Highway pass the mall (mall will be on your right.) About one mile look for the two Adcock Furniture stores on the right. Turn right onto Conway Drive between the two. Take a left onto Whitetail Way. Pawtropolis will be on the right.
From Atlanta: Take Highway 316 into Athens. Get off at the 78 exit. Turn left at end of ramp onto 78. At dead end take a right. At the first traffic light take a left onto Trade Street. Trade Street will dead end forcing you to turn right onto Conway Drive. Pawtropolis is on your left.
For dogs, the adoption fee is normally $150. All dogs are up-to-date on all vaccinations and are spayed or neutered before they are adopted out. The adoptions process begins with the potential owner filling out an application; if that is approved, we will do a home visit to see where and how the dog will be living. We require that all dogs live indoors.
For cats, the adoption fee is normally $100. All cats are up-to-date on all vaccinations and are spayed or neutered before they are adopted out. The adoptions process begins with the potential owner filling out an application; if that is approved, we will do a home visit to see where and how the cat will be living. We require that all cats live indoors.

Other organizations are rescue groups run by busy volunteers who may take a while to reply. You can find information about the shelter or rescue group caring for this pet, and their adoption procedures,
