Neville is a male Poodle/Maltese mix approximately 2 years old. He is a bigger boy weighing 18 pounds full grown. Neville has been professionally groomed and has a very soft, lovely non-shedding coat. He is currently sporting a short summer haircut, but his fur will grow out long and wavy if allowed. He has very light apricot coloring on his ears and his body is a creamy white. Neville is a sensitive, tender-hearted gentleman. He is housetrained and very well-behaved indoors. He loves playing with toys and is great at playing fetch. He is hesitant around people he doesn't know and his big expressive brown eyes almost beg you to love him. He adores being with people and will follow you everywhere you go. Neville is excellent with other dogs and playful, although he seems to prefer more gentle canine companions. He is a soft, sweet boy and is always looking for security and safety in his environment. Neville tugs at your heartstrings once he gets to know you because he will eagerly wag his tail in greeting and hustle up to you for some loving. Once you start stroking his head and body, he's all yours. This sweet boy is a total lovebug that shows his gratitude with sweet kisses. He will be extremely devoted and loyal to his caretakers and can become quite the clown when he gets comfortable. Neville walks great on leash and has a nice amount of energy for long walks, jogging, short hikes or the dog park. He loves going out on leash with a harness and will trot right out as happy as can be. Inside the home, he is very mellow and quiet preferring to snuggle close and soak up the love. Neville would do fine as an only dog with a gentle owner, or he would also do quite well with an easygoing dog his age or older to show him the way. Neville was rescued from a very high-volume/high-kill shelter where he was brought in stray. He is very healthy and has his whole life ahead of him. We hope to find this sweet boy a nice secure home and a bright future. Neville is ready for his new forever home today!
Neville’s adoption donation is $425 (*TAX DEDUCTABLE). He has been NEUTERED, MICROCHIPPED, UP-TO-DATE WITH VACCINATIONS, DEWORMED, DEFLEAED and PROFESSIONALLY GROOMED. Also included is his collar with ID, harness, leash, folder with all of his records, a great PETCO coupon book, and a fun goodie bag with toys, etc.
Neville is being fostered by Pet Match Rescue Foster Volunteers, Lynda, Eric and Lisa and is ready for his forever home.
