Brutus's Info...

I am already neutered, up to date with shots, and good with cats.

Brutus's Story...
Brutus was found living in a local new-to-us colony. We trapped him, got him neutered and vaccinated and during his recovery we discovered that he was friendly! It does take him a few minutes to warm up to people, but once he accepts you all he wants is attention. We did try to find his original family, but sadly no one came forward to claim him. This means this is your lucky day! Brutus is ready to move in with you! Brutus is estimated to have been born about September 29, 2014. Brutus is a Maine Coon mix and loves to be brushed!

Brutus has tested negative for feline leukemia and FIV, has been dewormed, and is up to date with all his shots. He requires a home where he will never be declawed, or allowed to go outside.

If you would like to find out more about adopting this delightful cat, please call Cari at 571-408-9626 or email info@shadowcatadvocates.org. We answer emails as quickly as possible, but calling for info will be much faster.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Brutus, a Stafford Maine Coon cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Maine Coon for sale in Stafford, or seeking a Maine Coon cat from a breeder in Stafford.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Stafford already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Stafford breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Maine Coon breeders who help with Maine Coon rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Stafford paves the way for another one to be saved.
