My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This Stunning Boy is Bedford a gorgeous purebred grey ghost Weimaraner. Bedford has just turned 10 yrs old, He has a wonderful temperament, a handsome Weimy boy tall and approx 75lbs He has beautiful soulful amber eyes that show so much love. Bedfords`s story )))) We dont know much about Bedfords prior life what we do know is that he was picked up by animal control as a stray with another dog a spaniel, He was taken to the local shelter in Louisiana Bedford was scanned and found to have a microchip his owners were contacted and they said they didn't want them, I cannot understand why Bedford is a wonderful boy very low key until he has a ball and then he comes to life, Bedford stayed at the kill shelter where we pulled him out and transported him to our base in Florida his transporters just loved him, He arrived and for the first 24 hours he was anxious but he quickly settled into his new temporary life, Bedford is a well mannered boy and so loving he is happy being around his humans all he wants is a family that will love him and play for a while he is very low maintenance sometimes I don't know I have him until he quietly nuzzles up to me for a reassuring cuddle. We are now searching for a wonderful home for Bedford a home that is filled with love and a Weimaraner family that truly understands our breed a family that will love Bedford as much as we do and can give him a wonderful life in his golden years, We are looking for a family that is home most of the time Bedford loves his humans and dosent like to be apart from you for long hours, We do not crate our dogs and we are looking for a family that will not crate, Bedford like most weims loves to go for car rides and he is excellent in the car he likes to sniff the air and put his head out of the window, Bedford loves the freedom to be able to run and potter around he does run with the others but prefers one on one ball or Frisbee time. He is happy sitting around and watching the others, Bedford is up to date on all shots, neutered. heart worm negative and micro chipped. He is happiest being in a family environment and enjoying freedom to relax in the home He loves home comforts. We are looking to find Bedford a wonderful Weimy forever home where he can have stability and security in his life. A family that is really stable and can give him that forever home that means forever. We don't ever want to see this boy back in rescue or a shelter. Bedford is so lovable, and loves cuddles. A family that will include him in their lifestyle and activities. He will shine with the right interaction. A home with a fenced in yard Pool Lanai or acreage where he can run and play is ESSENTIAL He would be fine with another Weim or as an only boy with lots of interaction. An older female Weim would be perfect. Bedford is with 14 other dogs both male and female and he gets on fine with them all but a quieter home environment would be better for him Not a lot of dogs so he dosent feel the need to compete for attention. A family that is home most of the time would work best for Bedford he dosent like to be alone for long periods, Bedford is certainly a people boy he dosent need a lot just needs the love and consistency of a loving family. We would say NO CATS for Bedford he has not been tested but by nature Weimaraners do not usually get along with cats unless they are brought up with them and no toddlers he is fine with children but young ones that are not disciplined may be a little too much for him. Bedford likes home comforts just like all Weims so if you don't like a dog on your furniture or bed then Bedford is not for you, An older family would work best for Bedford someone that has time and love to invest, Could you be the one to open up your heart and home, and make Bedfords`s life complete, if so you will be rewarded with a wonderful , loyal faithful friend that will bring you endless hours of pleasure.
