LITTLE DUDE's Story...
This little dude has a wild back story. He was found as a stray in McKinney. He does have a microchip and the finder tracked it back to a breeder. The breeder said they sold the puppy to a pet store in Las Vegas in 2006. Whoever bought him from the pet store never registered the chip and the pet store went out of business in 2007. That's where the trail ends. So after trying to find the owners it's time to find Little Dude a new forever home. He's 10 years old but in excellent health and has a lot of loving years ahead of him. If you would like to adopt this little boy you can fill out the app at this link. http://www.dfwfgf.org/adoption-application.html

Why Adoption is a Great Option

LITTLE DUDE, a Dallas Maltese dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Maltese for sale in Dallas, or seeking a Maltese dog from a breeder in Dallas.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Dallas already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Dallas breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Maltese breeders who help with Maltese rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Dallas paves the way for another one to be saved.
