Princess's Story...
Princess was her name when she came to the rescue, and it fits her for sure. Princess is a very regal looking dog and has a shiny black coat. Princess was surrendered to us, and other than that we don't know much about her history, as with many of our rescue dogs.
We do know she is close to 2 years old, and we have her brother "Frank" here at the rescue also. Princess wants to be out of the kennel so badly, and I am thinking she was probably lived in the house. She is lovable, but a little timid until she gets to know you. A great gal. Not as large as the Dane--but you can see that breed distinctly. We think she is JUST RIGHT! UPDATE: Princess is being sponsored by a special lady. She has been spayed and looks great. She is shy at first, but warms up to people after she has the opportunity to know them. She is allowed to run around on the farm while we are out doing chores and she doesn't stray or bother anything. A super great gal. Call 402-846-5100 if interested. THESE ARE NEW PHOTOS

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Princess, a Walthill Great Dane/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Great Dane/Labrador Retriever for sale in Walthill, or seeking a Great Dane/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Walthill.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Walthill already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Walthill breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Great Dane/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Great Dane/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Walthill paves the way for another one to be saved.
