Champ's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, not good with dogs, and not good with cats.

Champ's Story...
Champ, another of our longest residents here at MCAS after being here for almost 3 months now. This sweet boy is only a year old and has some issues. We have noticed after being adopted once and returned that he definitely does not get along with cats and due to how he responds with them, we would suggest not having him around other dogs either. Although he is a year old, he could be worked with when it comes to the other dog issues but the time and patience would have to be put in. Champ is already neutered and mirco-chipped. He is a very sweet boy, who is in need of his forever home. If you are interested in giving this fella that chance at his forever home, stop in and ask to meet him today!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Champ, a Troy Labrador Retriever/Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Troy, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Troy.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Troy already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Troy breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Troy paves the way for another one to be saved.
