Scoop would love to find someone to take him on daily runs/walks and to play ball with him. Scoop was pulled from an overcrowded shelter and put into a loving foster home. In his foster home Scoop has learned SO MUCH about living in a home, playing with kids and dogs, Scoop is even friendly with the family cat! Scoop is completely vetted, neutered, and has been waiting a VERY LONG time to find his forever home. Please consider opening up your heart and home to him.

About Paw Patrol

About Our Rescue Group...

Paw Patrol is a dedicated group of volunteers working to improve the quality of life for dogs living in our community.

Our Mission is:
To improve the lives of dogs living in Dayton, Ohio and the surrounding municipalities (with special emphasis on helping outdoor dogs).
To provide shelter in the form of an adequate doghouse to outdoor dogs in an effort to keep them warm and dry.
To promote the importance of spaying/neutering dogs and to offer this service at a free or subsidized cost to dog owners.
To provide information to the public about the negative aspects of dog tethering.
To assist owners with necessary resources to allow them to keep their dog happy, healthy, and out of the already over-crowded shelter system.
To provide outdoor dogs with either a trolley run or a fence built by volunteers in order to improve their quality of life and remove any form of tethering.

Our Adoption Process...

Our Adoption Fees cover spay/neuter for our dogs, vaccinations, heart worm testing/medication, microchipping and any vet care the dog is needing. Once you fill out an application on our adoptables tab on our website,, a representative will conduct a reference check with your vet provided. A call to the potential adopter will be made when the representative is done verifying the information on the contract.
