Hannah's Story...
Hannah was an owner surrender. She is slow to warm but then is a sweet and fun girl to be around. She would be best in a home without small children or other dogs. She is healthy and quite active. She loves to go for walks and hang out with the people that care for her. We will require her adoptive family to come in several times to meet her. When she is comfortable with the new family we will then work on transitioning her into a home. Please fill out an application to start the process of meeting Hannah.
Alsip To The Rescue (ATTR) strives as a rescue to make sure that when our adopters take home their new rescue they feel they have the support and access to all resources which ATTR can provide. If you want to learn how you can set your new rescue up to succeed and blend in with your family come we will give you tips on what to do when you first bring home a new rescue. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Hannah, a St John Lhasa Apso/Shih Tzu dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Lhasa Apso/Shih Tzu for sale in St John, or seeking a Lhasa Apso/Shih Tzu dog from a breeder in St John.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in St John already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a St John breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Lhasa Apso/Shih Tzu breeders who help with Lhasa Apso/Shih Tzu rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in St John paves the way for another one to be saved.
