Facts about Braveheart

  • Breed: Domestic Shorthair
  • Color: Orange Or Red
  • Age: Young
  • Sex: Male
  • ID#: 10220
  • Hair: Short
Braveheart started his shelter journey all the way back in June, now 4 months may not seem like a very long time, unless you are a kitten. Usually kittens in shelter have a nearly immediate turnaround. Not Braveheart, he was tiny and required care and attention virtually around the clock. When he first arrived his survival was in doubt, but he not only survived, he's thrived. Now he's back in the shelter a little bit older and much more energetic. This little rapscallion is full of it these days, he oozes excitement and life. His zest makes him the best bet for an adult only home; living with adults all this time has left him with poor manners that would make young kids a poor match. Braveheart would do well in a home with other cats as he lives to play and roughhouse. While he can be somewhat obnoxious it is important to remember, even though he hasn't gotten big, he is still just a kitten.

About Forever Paws Animal Shelter,Inc.

About Our Shelter...

Forever Paws Animal Shelter is a non-profit organization governed by a volunteer Board of Directors. We believe there is a home out there for every animal we take in. We work to give each animal the gift of time, therefore we are a no-kill shelter.
Every animal taken into the shelter is given complete veterinary care, is neutered or spayed, evaluated and when available some training and behavioral rehabilitation, if needed.
Our shelter mission is to provide suitable care, food, shelter and humane treatment for any abandoned, owner surrendered, sick, lame, overworked, old, cruelly treated and/or confiscated dog, cat, or any other domesticated animal. Educating the public concerning animal welfare and owner responsibility for the purpose of advocating humane treatment for animals and to prevent animals from being sold or given to laboratories or institutions and/or subjected to experimentation. Our motto is to "give animals a new leash on life".
