Ralph's Story...
Ralph is a 10 year old neutered Schnauzer mix who was found as a stray. He has the cutest little ears! We've loved taking to me to get to know this sweet man! Ralph is a polite leash walker and is content to be near you. He hasn't been around too many dogs yet, but those that he has been around, Ralph hasn't seemed to have had issues. We are unsure of his background so older children in the home would be best for him. Ralph may be a little older, but he definitely has just as much love to give. He is a gentle and loving boy. When we learn more, we will update!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ralph, a Michigan City Schnauzer (Standard) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Schnauzer (Standard) for sale in Michigan City, or seeking a Schnauzer (Standard) dog from a breeder in Michigan City.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Michigan City already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Michigan City breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Schnauzer (Standard) breeders who help with Schnauzer (Standard) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Michigan City paves the way for another one to be saved.
